Project Variables Group on the Metrics Tab

Use the ribbon commands to perform such tasks as add a new project variable or delete a variable.

This menu displays when you are in the Project Variables view.

Field	Description
New Project Variable	Click this icon to create a new field variable. When defining a metric, if a project value to be used in a metric definition is unknown, then a project variable can be created. When an analysis is run, the user is prompted for the actual value to be assigned.
Delete	Click this icon to delete the selected variable.
